Well, I kinda have another thread over in miscellaneous where these topics mesh but... this does involve some vintage IBZ's so... here goes.... "Newsday" (circulation 600,000) is my local newspaper. They interviewed me today about my copyright lawsuit, they are coming to my home today at 4:30 pm for photo shoot, they want to surround me in my axes and get a few shots so... that's a bunch of folk who'll be getting an eyeful of some nice old Ibanezes. I will post this in the other thread anyways. |

Bob I think you may have to buy the online photo. What page in the print edition is your story? |

I think page 16 in print. It's a really big photo. ar5000 ar1200 I think the 2671, the sr480bm, the Vietnamese flower axe...I think they're all in the photo, it's in color and it's BIG. Big photo. I noticed no photo on line, too bad. It's a half page article. I can't get into all the "mis-truths" spouted by one of the defendants in the article but I will say, they completely ignored the sales of Americana Vol IV. |

I want to assure everyone that every word in article from defendants is a lie. I have my copyrights and 25 lbs. of other evidence. They say the song sold "20 copies." The song was first of all never released as a single. It is part of 2 albums. The 20 copies they refer to is there stupid self-released album. They conveniently neglect to mention sales of the big album on Shut Eye Records. Either wy, they are legally bound to an audit, both of them. They are all in deep trouble and they know it. The Ibanez pictures in the paper are pretty decent. The ar5000 is right up front and center. So... apprx. 600,000 folks got a look at some nice old Ibanez's. In color and the photo is quite large, maybe 6" x 6". It was a half page article in the paper. |

Well, there are always two sides to every dispute, and being right doesn't automatically mean you will win. The legal system is funny like that. Hope all goes well. Tonedef |

Tone, in this case... being right will make me win. That's the beauty of registering your copyrights with the Library of Congress. |
