does anybody have an idea of the value of a clean '78 MC300DS? I am supposed to look at one that's barely been played by the original owner. Includes case, tools (tuner spanner & truss rod wrench) and brochure.

I'll take a SWAG (scientific wild-*ss guess) and say $600-$700, since the MC400 (with active eq) tends to go for north of $1,100 these days. That's comparable to the solid body Artists. Non-EQ models go for less than a grand, EQ's more.
