Uggh. Lee. It's certainly not a 1979 either, with that color, unless the same genius responsible for the tremelo also painted it.

The brass truss rod cover indicates that it's probably from 1980.

its a washburn 2001 "wonderbar", luckily enough, it's flat mounted to the body, requiring no routing to install, so it should be reversible, to an extent. still ugly as though. and a pain in the to work on.

Allright, the plastic TRCs were on the STUDIO models until 1980, and then THEY got brass ones like the Musicians.
The catalogue 1979 supplement No. 1 shows only Studio models with plastic TRCs, Roadstars and MC basses, no MC guitars. So now I know that MC guitars had brass TRCs in 1979 and not plastic ones like the ST models.
