Looks pretty good. One nick on the front and minor dents toward the top of the fretboard side. Ebay Item #130155407648 |

The pickguard doesn't appear to be original or did they make them that big on some of the pre-serial V's? Patrick |

Looks like it has speed knobs and a coil tap switch, too. |

I did a quick catalog search and the pickguard looks like a cross between the one from a Model 2387/2387DX and the 2387CT/Rocket Roll Sr. |

No neck pickup ring, pickguard is big big big, wonder if there is some funky routing hiding under there? At least some extra screw holes were added to the top for the bigger guard. |

Non-original pickguard, non-original pickups, added coil tap switch. Knobs (these are no speed knobs, but "barrel" knobs) seem original to me, though. Itīs a pity: it would have been much more collectable if this pre-serial were in original condition! Harry |

I asked the seller a few questions: - the headstock Ibanez script is inlay - the body was only routed for the coil tap switch - the pickups are DiMarzio's |

Geez, over $1,000 with a few minutes to go. I wish I had paid $700 for one just a couple months ago. Looks like those days are gone. -Chuck |
