So I have the opportunity to get a 1976 Bob Weir with vines. I talked to the seller about it, and he told me that it was all original, and that he had owned the guitar since he was a teenager. He said the only issue was some buckle rash that had, indeed , gone through to the wood. What I though was unusual was the little switch he mentioned that changes the sound of the guitar to that of a stratocaster. Have these guitars been produced with phase switches and the like? Also, what value would those on the board put on this guitar? It has a case he said, but it's really beat up and might not protect the guitar any longer. Thanks ahead of time for any information! The switch you're on about is a add on so unoriginal to the guitar. Can you post some pics as price depends on a lot of things really. six |
