I got my pf300 back from the shop and have to say this guitar creams like a dream - it must be all that brass hardware that pushes the tubes in a most delightful way. It's distorto heaven for sure. My tech completely shielded the guitar, oiled the fretboard, serviced the machine heads, new switch, pots, caps, and fixed up all electronis which i had butchered years ago. it's not original by any stretch. He even fashioned my cavity covers and pickguard. It sounds and plays like a dream, although it still looks very lived in. I think my old Gibson 335 will be taking a sabbatical under the bed. Ah well, i will sleep better knowing it's under there. cheers! so i guess it's official - i'm an ibanez freak. |
