The shipping was a bit on the high side and the seller wasn't very responsive during the auction, but I couldn't help myself. Ebay Item #220169322333 |

Thanks for the kind words guys. John, I tried to get photos during the auction to confirm it was truely a 400, but the seller responded with the following: "Sorry, but I've already spent too much on this item" I had no idea what that meant. But judging by the lack of information in the listing, I assumed the seller must have gotten the model number from the truss cover. Since it had a tap switch, I assumed it must at least be a 300, so at the price I paid, it would still be a pretty good deal. I'll update the thread when it arrives. js |

nice axe jeff , i am in the proces of working on dusting and polishing my brass beauty right now and taking off the parts that will be replated with 24k gold with just a hint of kobalt for indurance and toughness in use and was happy to find the stock pick ups were truly original super 58 and became more shiney after a gentle rub with special gold polish, also the brass nut and headstock were nice after a good clean! so i cant wait to pick up the replated parts and assemble them to play it again and see her truly shine !!! nothing llike making a battered axe come to life again after a good touch up!! like cleaning and if needed replating! |
