Can anyone help identify these pickups? Like who made them? (FujiGen Gakki or Matsumoku or Maxon or ?) What brands and models were they used on? What years were they made? What does the numbers mean? (25726, 15010, 25331) Any ideas? The first one was obviously made for an Ibanez, but what model? Check out the pics....

Gtrhorder, quite a lots o' questions.. Let's try to find some answers.. First one is Super70's predecessor "Logo PU" might be appropriate name.. 1974-77 Alnico 8 magnet Second one w. square row of poles is 1971-75 "Hi-Power" humbucker, the other one might be the same but with full cover instead of the black slot-top cover in the first one. These pickups need the cover to hold the bobbins in place, btw... The last one seems a bit like open coil Super 70... I guess those all were made by Nisshin Onpa Seisakusho (brand name Maxon or Maxxon), Nisshin Onpa wound quite a lots of pickups for japanese guitar manufacturers.... |
