Hi everyone, I'm a new user and this is my first post. (For the purist, sorry for my English as it is not my native language) After some research on the web (that obviously guide me to this site) I found out yesterday that I am the owner of a 1970 2358r Ibanez guitar, all original and in mint condition (only a really small scratch on the back) with the original case (black with orange interior). So here is my questions, as a collector view, is this a rare guitar or is it pretty common ? and also what could be the value of this guitar considering it conditions ? Thanks for your help Eric |

Vallaird: Welcome and congratulations on owning a real nice vintage Ibanez. They are pretty rare. Do a Keyword Search on "Caiola" (no quotes) and you'll find several messages that talk about the maple version of this guitar. Seems to me you might find some interest in it for around $500.00US. |

Thanks for the quick answer, I do not plan to sell it but it's always good to know what it's worth. I paid 80 $ Canadian for it about 5 years ago. Not a bad deal and this guitar plays great. I'll try to upload a picture of it in the next couple of days. |

Here are the pics of my Ibanez. As you can see, I replaced the original pickups but I still got them.
