That knob looks like an add omn to me biut If its a good price I'd snatch it up! |

thanks, the guy claims that the "chicken head knob" was broken and he changed for a round one, the mc3000 and mc5000 have this kind of 6 position knob as well, but 3 "3 way switches"and not 2 as this one, that's why I'm confused.... cheers emilio |

The 6-way rotary switch was a standard feature of the MC300 since Oktober '79. The 'Limited Edition' also has that switch but there are some differences: The core is made of maple instead of mahogany and it has a PreAmp. Here is a catalog scan and a pic of my MC300-LE Juergen |

Have been trying to find some info on my Limited Edition guitar for ages. You'll find mine in the "79 Musician LIMITED EDITION??" thread in Vintage & Custom electrics. Mine's the really battered one under a photo of Tim's immaculate one. Nice to finally know what I bought all those years ago! |
