"Jack"- Thanx for the reply!! I presently have a '78 Musician and could'nt agree with you more about the quality and worksmanship!! They're awesome! There seems to be about a million nice '78 and '79's out there, but not many NICE '82's!! I do appreciate you keeping your eyes out for me!!! You sound like a deadhead. Have you ever heard of Max Creek? They're lead player plays an '82 Musician EXACTLY like the one I'm after!!! |

By the way, You can ID the Year by lookin' at the serial #!!! The first 2 Numbers are the year the ax was built!!! |

Pschnall: Thanks for the date info. on Ibanez Musicians. I guess that makes my Musician a 1979. Yes, I love the Dead. I cut my teeth on guitar from listening to Bob and Jerry. I have seen Max Creek but it's been a long time (~1980). They used to play at the old Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel in Providence, RI a lot and that's where I last saw them. They were great as I remember. I hear they're still truckin' after all these years. |
