New here so please be gentle. I'm looking at a near mint 78 300NT. Passive with pup selector near the vol/tone controls not on the upper horn. Two mini's which I assume are coil tap/phase switches. MOP logo on the ash(??) headstock instead of decal. Said to be OHSC (triangle shape kinda sorta)green plush lining.
Is $700 too much for this beautiful guitar? I know it's a very selective question. I know the build quality, fit and finish is high end. I've been trying to educate myself a little on Ibanez guitars and have read the likes and dislikes of the 88 pups, the "hippie" stigma of the Musician and all that. I am a gigging bass player and have an Alembic Essense so I dig all that natural wood. (You know all us Northern Cali trippers)...I know my Fender basses, Teles and tube amps but new to these. I recently let an 81 Artist get away so I'm kind of on the rebound. All opinions welcome on the tone, feel and vibe. Thanks,

Boo
