I bought this guitar new in 1974 at The House Of Guitars in Rochester, NY for about $200.00. It has an unusual rounded or beveled back, as much as 1 inch at it's peak. It appears to be all mahogany with a spruce top. The model# is 952SB, serial# (inside on base of neck) 760715. There are no other numbers anywhere that I can see. I have taken it to dealers and NO ONE knows anything about it, nor have they (or I) ever seen another one like it. It plays like new and it sounds better every year. WHAT IS IT?....WHAT IS IT WORTH?....Does anyone know anything about it? I doubt that I would ever sell it, but it would be nice to know more about it. HELP!!! |

Sorry I can't help you out as far as the model is concerned. I only wondered if you're not mistaken about the date you bought it: according to the serial number (starting with 76) the instrument was built in 1976.. greetings from Holland, Harry. |
