I own one of these. You will be a happy camper if you buy this guitar... IF it actually is as described. |

Bob, did you notice the difference in pups (as well a probable change in the body/neck) in this '79 relative to your '80+? Here we go again! Kidding. But it is a good thing that they did not make a 2622EQ Twin ;O) |

No... I didn't notice. Mine's an '83 and... whatever the diff. is... the '83 kicks butt. |

This appears to be an early AR1200. It has the Super70 pups and smooth neck joint like the late model 2640s, but the headstock inlaid is all AR. Ace |

Ace, did the Super 70s have "Flying Finger" pup covers? |

seller indicates axe is up for sale for $2500 local. does he realize he has no reserve on his auction and... if last bid is $1000, he has to let it go for that? It's bid to apprx. $1000 now. If no one would have bid yet, it would still be at $20.... or whatever it started at. WITH NO RESERVE. |

The seller can withdraw the auction just prior to closing if the bid amount is not to his liking. We need not worry for him. Ace |

I used the link above to go back to this auction and this is what it said ..... "This guitar has sold outside of e-bay for $2150.00 and is no longer available on auction. " Well, I got mine for $1,150. Only a short while ago. If an ICW member wound up with this guitar, please let us know and... post photos please. |
