The bindings on my 1979 Iceman PS10 have turned a rich custard yellow color except for a small section where the body meets the neck which is a darker rust color. Is there any way that I can lighten the color so that its more consistent? Some plastics become darker if left in the dark too long, will more exposure to daylight help? |

Both my 78 IC200 and my 79 2619 have it, I wouldn't worry. It's a sign of aging (like going grey ). |

Thanks for your comments. Yes, "vintage patina" sounds much more appropriate than "yellowing with age". I shall use it when I start to go grey. |
