I have run across this guitar in a local music shop, it has a crack on the top, it plays and sounds good, is it worth buying??

Sure. It is on page 16. It looks like a 335. Rounded block inlays, stripe down the middle of the headstock, pickup selector on the lower horn. The guy wants 200.00 or so for it. Even with the crack, is this worth it, Orval, are you out there???

Can't find that model's serial number, so far. But it's very similar to the 1900 series models from the real early 70s. Unless you were really into collecting every Ibanez that came along, I would think it's reasonable to pay $200, maybe. I doubt it's a serious players guitar.
