I feel very ashamed to post too many times.... But, I need your help earnestly. As I wrote in the thread's title, I have a question about AR300MS model. MS, which stands for Marine Sunburst, is a color well known for the RS1010SL model. http://hasenobu.hp.infoseek.co.jp/collection/collection56.html I know some AR300s were produced with this color, but what I want to make sure is whether they were sold as one of regular models out there (I mean, outside of Japan) back then? Is there any catalogue availabe showing an AR guitar with this color? Any bit of information is very much appreciated. |

I've seen them with a tremelo on them here in the USA if that helps you. And don'y worry about too many posts thats what makes ICW fun. |

Ibanezfreak1960, Oh, I see, you're talking about the AR350 and AR350T models. How about ones without a tremolo unit? Thanks, anyway! |

Hasenobu: First, let me give you an official "welcome" to the ICW community! Please feel free to post as much as you like. Your site is a favorite for many of us. Even if we can't read Japanese, we're still thrilled to see the great pictures of what I feel is the "classic" original Ibanez design. Second, here's a catalog page from the 1986 US catalog that shows the Marine Sunburst Artist AR350: http://www.ibanezrules.com/catalogs/us/1985/p16.jpg However, I've never seen a non-tremolo AR in this color. Johns, Thank you very much for your heartwarming welcome and encouragement! Ibanezrules has long been one of my favorites sites. And, yes, AR350 and its subsequent model AR350T employed this MS color. Now, I have a similar question. Has anyone seen AR300PW in a catalogue? I tried to find, but without success so far. There are, however, several AR300s in PW color poted in my website. Judging from their serial numbers, Ibanez seems to have produced AR300MS and AR300PW guitars only for a short while, from December 1983 to the first half of the following year. This is just my guess, though. |

Hi Hasenobu, Love your website. I'm wondering the same thing regarding the AR300MS. Do you have any info updates on the matter? Mine was from Japan as well: Serial #L830749 Looks like most of the AR300MS were from December '83! |
