Here's one for ya which i dont seem to be able to find any info on, so dont think it's been mentioned here (forgive me if i'm wrong). Browsing through some catalogs i noticed sth i hadnt noticed before... the series i'd been calling MUSICIAN all the time was actually called MUSICAN. Well I never! Or was I right in the first place? I did a bit of research and found there are different people calling them Musicans and Musicians all over the place. Further research revealed the following differences: 1978 US Catalog: Page header says MUSICIAN 1980 Catalog: Page header says MUSICIAN 1981 US Catalog: Page header says MUSICAN 1983 US Catolog: Page header says MUSICIAN again Ibanezregister.com: Series title for bass gallery says MUSICAN Ibanezregister.com: Series title for guitar gallery says MUSICIAN So it seems that a print error in the 1981 US catalog has led to quite a bit of confusion.. unless some of the trussrod covers also have MUSICAN on them, of course! |

Sounds like a typo. That's all. But... interesting nevertheless. |

I found it especially interesting coz it was spelled wrong twice, once in the electric guitar section and then again in the bass guitar header.... at least they were consistent then |
