I just got my Cowboy 3 days ago and have some questions for other owners to see if I have a problem. Last night 2 or 3 times when I had the EQ activated there was no sound coming through the amp. When I switched the EQ off, I was able to get sound again. Each time this happend I turned the amp off and replugged the chord in to the guitar and things would be ok again for a short time and then it happened again. I checked the battery and it had plenty of juice. I then played it again for about 20 minutes and everything worked fine but obviously I am nervous about this. I am going to open up the back to see if there are any loose wires however if there are I will need to take it in as I am not a guitar repair expert. Also I had to purchase my guitar from a dealership in Germany since I could not find one in the US and I did not receive any warranty information when I got the guitar. Did any of you receive warranty info when you got yours? I registered online at Ibanez.com and it says I don't need to send a card in now, but I never got one to begin with. Also with EQ on and turned up I am getting a slight buzz through the amp, anyone else get that also? And with EQ on if I push the battery compartment cover with a little pressure I get a slightly elevated buzz (not that I do this while I am playing but I'm just curious if anyone else is experiencing the same thing. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. |
