Hello fellow members, In one of my infrequent trips to the local GC, I ran across this beauty. After a bit of haggling, I left the store with this puppy for $225.00. It plays and sounds incredible, and I am sorry that I waited to get one. It will look good with the rest of the collection. There is no serial number, What model is it?? Thanks in advance!

P.S. I took the replacement pickguard off, and put the sperzels on it, the tuners as we know are junk. |

I'll take a stab and say it looks to be a 2350. Looks like another score from the Guitar Center eh? You happen to get the case with it? Looks like the knobs have been changed out compared to the pictures in the book. Looks to be in good shape too! |

Is it brownburst or is my screen deceiving me and is it a cherry sunburst? Because of the pickup rings, the big font on the TRC and the bolt on neck I'd say it is a 1973 2350. Curious about the colour though..... Paul |

Hey thanks guys, It is brown burst, and it is in really good shape. I am really impressed with how it sounds. Was $225.00 a good deal? |

Lespaul, where do you see that it's a bolt on neck? I thought the 2350's were set. Cmangeot, did you get a case with it? At any rate, yeah I think 225 was a good deal. You can't get much guitar these days for 225, and you walked out with a historical Ibanez LP replica. Also, what type of neck joint is it? |

Cmangeot, a nice 2350 for 225US$ seems like a good deal to me. Is that finish original? Any sings of a refin? Anybody else know about other finishes than black, white or cherry sunburst on a 2350? Brentm, if you look closely or blow up the pic, you can see a little bit of the "inside" of the body on the rightside of the neckpocket. That led me to believe it is a bolt on and therefore a 2350. The 2350 are bolt ons. The setneck customs are modelnumber 2650. Paul |

Ah, I see. In the book, I can see the gap clearly in the neck joint/pocket. I guess the Ibanez register threw me off with the two 2350's that are set. |

If the register shows set neck 2350's I'd think they are mislabeled. Paul |

I'll give you $300 for it. (Yeah, I'd say that was a good deal. I've never even seen one of those, and I've been shopping for guitars for almost 20 years...) |

Guys, thanks for all of the info/opinions. The finish is original, and i did not get a case, but oh well. I am amazed that this guitar is in this good of shape for its age. The frets are even in great shape. Must have been in a closet for a while. Has no one seen a brown burst? Do I have an oddball? |
