I will not be bidding on this one, however, for those interested, I recommend contacting the seller before he strikes a deal with someone else.

Michael, you asked the weight.. Mine is 4 kg 700 grams, exactly.. Almost the same as those heavyish AR 500- guitars, which weigh 4,750..

MC500 - no. It's more like a hybrid: it has an Artist shape body with Musician wood and Musician pickups. Check out the truss rod cover. It's called an Artist. Intruiging, isn't it!

Johnsocal, that guitar is officially called Artist Custom 2700 EQ, it had a sister model without the active electronics, Artist Custom 2710.. as Michael said they were sort of a cross-breed between Artist and Musician-series. Carved top, MC:s Super88 pickups.
24-fret neck with dots.

OK - me again - I've finally found a little info that I was looking for on this model. If this had ever appeared in any catalog, I had surely never seen it - not that I've seen them all, mind you. I had been told it was model 'MC-500 BR Eq' but that never made sense, given the 'Artist' on the rod cover. But the 'hybrid theory' makes sense to me now. Again, any additional info from an Ibanez catalog would be helpful. TIA
