Why not ask if he'll ship it to Aus? Nice guitar, but the only way to get one here is chase after it. |

Thanks for the help with the ICW link, Brian. Looks like a nice specimen. The pictures are a little tOo blurry for my taste. I have doubts about the tuners being "all original". |

Seems like a straight-up seller to me from reading the details of his feedback. If he can shoot pics a bit further away on a white sheet, he probably would have less CU/Blur problems. Some digital cameras can't handle closeups well...especially with flash. Bluepill: If you know someone who lives in Oregon, they could inspect, purchase and ship it for you keeping cost and risk to a minimum. Two things that would give me confidence the back of the neck pic and the back edge has minimal number of dings...Good Luck! |

Yeah Johns, they look a bit too chrome to me. They may be newer (chrome) Ibanez tuners, but I doubt they're original. Nonetheless, its a nice specimen of the "less common" flavor of the 2619. Strings, My cheap digital camera does the same thing on close-ups. I think you hit that one right on the head. His camera probably just can't get close-up shots any sharper than those. Bluepill, I recently shipped a guitar to Australia from the States for a fellow member and it was a bit on the expensive side. Keep in mind that I live on the East Coast of the US, so that probably accounted for a bit of the cost. If you get quotes, take into account any customs and/or taxes that you may have to pay to receive the guitar on your end. FedEx quotes will be about three times what a quote from USPS will be because I believe Fedex charges the customs/taxes up front(to the shipper), whereas USPS will defer those charges to the receiver. js |

yeh i was looking at shipping over an ar300 some time back, and with the currency conversion and shipping, it was way over the current market cost...meaning without playing the guitar it would def not be worth it (resale would be a killer loss!)...but thanks for the tips guys! |

Other than the replacement tuners and the odd, dark coloration pattern in the middle I like it. I may just have to bid on it... (Or is that, "get outbid," on it?) I'd really like to have a 2619. There's also another nice 1977 Artist on ebay right now. http://cgi.ebay.com/RARE-Vintage-1977-Ibanez-Artist-EQ_W0QQitemZ7397118655QQcate goryZ33043QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem |

B5erik: Nice looking '77 2622 with a smooth heel neck joint, original tabs on the neck binding and an aluminum case. Here's the ICW-frinedly URL. Please use it to place bids, if possible: http://www.qksrv.net/click-1802666-10381315?loc=http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI .dll%3FViewItem%26item%3D7397118655 |

Interesting, looks like the seller pulled the listing for this guitar. Bidding ended today (5 days early). I guess I won't be bidding on it after all... I wonder why the listing was pulled. |

The bidding ended early because he sold it off ebay. |

I figured it was something like that. Hopefully another one shows up before too long. |
