Just in case someone is looking to clean out their spare bedroom.... And, yes, I'm aware that a couple of these are currently on eBay. I'm watching them very closely. WANT TO BUY: IBANEZ 6-String 76-77 Model 2459 Korina Destroyer 76-77 Model 2469 Korina Futura 77-78 IC-300 Korina Iceman 78 IC-400 Iceman in Midnight Olive 76-77 Model 2375ASH Strato XV500 (any year) IMG2010 MIDI Guitar (any year) Bass 76-77 Korina Rocket Roll Sr. Bass Must be playable and would prefer as very fine/near-mint/mint condition as possible. Neck must be straight, no loose frets, no messed up fingerboard, etc. Finish problems I can deal with but I'd prefer that the visible hardware be original. If hardware has been changed, I'm willing to at least look at it. Would prefer the OHSC but so long as it comes with *a* hardshell case and the guitar fits snugly in it, that's OK. I don't care if it has been rewired or had the pots/jack/switches replaced. If it has been repaired/restored/refinished/modified I'd like to know about it up front but it's *not* an automatic deal breaker. NON-IBANEZ Early 70s Ovation Breadwinner or Deacon - not the Limited Edition Must be original and have the active electronics in their original condition. Must be playable and would prefer as very fine/near-mint/mint condition as possible. Neck must be straight, no loose frets, no messed up fingerboard, etc. Must have Ovation hardshell case. Would prefer the 12-string Deacon but will settle for the 6-string version of either. Would prefer some unusual (but original) color but will take what I can get so long as it is *not* black. If it has been repaired/restored/refinished/modified I'd like to know about it up front but it's *not* an automatic deal breaker. PRICE I'm willing to pay any reasonable price and maybe somewhat above reasonable if the condition warrants it. As far as the 76-77 Model 2459 Korina Destroyer goes, if it is in near-mint/mint condition with all original hardware and a hardshell case, I'd be willing to discuss even *un*reasonable prices. Please e-mail any offers directly to me at: peterdryan@yahoo.com TERMINOLOGY Just so we're on the same wavelength.... When I say "original" I mean "as it came from the factory". I do not mean "when you acquired it". Also, say a guitar has been refinished and had modern replacement parts installed that are identical copies of the original hardware. The guitar may be rated in "near mint condition" but it is not "original". Thanks, all. - Pete |

I knew I'd forget something: I made the comment "I don't care if it has been rewired or had the pots/jack/switches replaced". That comment does *not* apply to the IMG2010 MIDI Guitar. In that case, I do care whether it has been rewired or had pots/jacks/switches replaced. - Pete |
