They are all double-cream. And it will include the mounting rings, that are actually painted black, but originaly double-cream. I think you can remove the paint, but never tried myself. I'm rescuing a trashed out Destroyer basket case & will do a total debuild. Do you know what model the pickups are? (V-2 comes to mind), and are they all the same? Any markings on the backside????? The typical set-neck destroyer setup was a covered Super58 in the neck with an open V2 in the bridge. This combo is stock on DT500, DT400, and DT300(unconfirmed). Early V2's have 12 adjustable poles that are black in color. Although they appear to be hex head, they are actually slotted. Most are stamped "V-2" on the back. That being said, I've never known what pickups were used on either one. I always "•••-umed" they had Super 70's in the neck & middle, & maybe a V-2 in the bridge. That would make sense. I know they both had 3 exposed cream bobbin pickups, Just never knew exactly what in both guitars. Thames, any way to get a few picks of these? Front, back, & leads would be cool. I probably wouldn't use all 3 on my project, but have room in my bins for extras. It would be cool have have Ibanez pickups in my Destroyer project. I'm interested... just trying to see exactly what it is you have. If you can, shoot me a few pic's & a ballpark figure of what you're looking to get for them to howdavid@bellsouth.net . It'd be cool to have them, but if you're looking for alot of cash for them, I might just throw some Duncans in it. It appears to be an attempt to brand the PUPS. The sticker appears with the first of the "Super 70's" marked pups sometime in late 1975 and dissappears in '77. Anyway there are a couple of other issues with this auction . #1) If these pups are supposedly from the same guitar, they would have the same inked number on the back....so they are NOT a matched pair. #2) The destroyer of 1976 (Korina) came with chrome covered Super 70's. The open bobbin pups (with dust covers) were offered on LP clones and the Rocket Roll Sr (Flying V).. #3) $225 ! Somehow I don't think there will be many offers. I think $225 is the going price for a PF100, which has the same pups.....HEE HEE HEE   Talajuha Username: Talajuha Registered: 11-2006 Posted on Sunday, September 09, 2007 - 11:58 am:    Perhaps the pickups in question are from the lawsuit (headstocks, singlecut body) era but I can't remember any pickup lawsuit. I guess 'lawsuit' is used here to make the pickups more desirable among potential bidders, i.e. more expensive.
