After much deliberation and experimenting, I'm pretty sure I want to sell the Bob Weir: '78 2680 Bob Weir (dot neck, no vines) Intact scoll headstock. Guitar is original except for pickups which were replaced last week with SD Alnico Pro II's (original Super 80's included) Frets redone 2 years ago, and not much play since. Overall condition is good, not great, with some cracks in the finish, a few dings here and there, couple holes in upper wing from a poorly relocated strap pin. The gold plating on the original hardware is worn and pitted. All electrics work fine. Comes with a 2 year old aftermarket case. E-mail for pics. $750, or best offer. $75 less if you don't want the Seymour Duncans. neil56 at comcast dot net.

I've found a couple Artists that I'm interested in and the Bob Weir has to go. I'm reducing the asking price to $550 including shipping, but not including the Seymour Duncan pickups. Original Super 80's (the ones in the pic) will be re-installed. Any takers before I re-list on E-bay? Email me at neil56 at comcast dot net |
