Looking to spice up my old 2630 with the rubber-topped Sure Grip knobs. I believe Ibanez still sells them new, but thought I'd check here first. Anyone have a set they'd like to sell? |

Ibanez sells the suregrip II's. The old style you'll have to get somewhere else. |

Thanks Ace. Looks like the seller actually has four knobs, but one (not shown!?) does not have the rubber grip. And only $59 BIN. Geez! Maybe I'll just order the new ones for more than half that...and get four complete grippies for my baby. |

Problem is, you can buy all the "Sure Grip II's" you want but there's no more new "Sure grip I" to be had. Ace |

That's cool. My 2630 did not come with sure grips when new. I'll go for a matched set of new 'II's. |

Dave, I have got some LP bridges in spare. I am reluctant in letting one go because I use them myself all the time but if you can not find one somewhere else (after you tried real hard) drop me an email..... |

Camulus...I'm not in this for the $..I'd rather see a vintage ax restored to its former stock condition. I allways try to trade for something I may need for one of my guitars-that way its about restoring/refurbishing these fine instruments that we are all infatuated with and not about raping someone $40 (or more) for some plastic knobs-there are enough predators out there , I don't think we need to prey on each other. I keep a small stash of vintage parts for trade or what ever, but its strictly not for profit. It is my hope that I can help someone restore a Vintage Ibanez and -perhaps-find something I need to restore one of mine (I always need something )...... Send me your address and I'll send ya some knobs, all I request is that you post a picture when the guitar is 100% for all to see..... |
