This is an Ibanez "rack" unit..Not too big..Can't fit all the goodies in a stomp box. It has Delay Time..Speed..Width..Regen...Blend..Level..& a Tone knob.. Footswitch Jack; way more versatility than the 3 knob AD-9. Besides needing the $, I already have a AD-9 & a Rockman Stereo Echo Delay. I would not be selling it ..if I did not have to. AD-202 $195 Has Delay, Doubling, Flange, & Stereo Chorus..Up to 600 ms etc |

I have the AD-230 and absolutely love it. Weir & Cochran used it. The AD-220 is a step down from the AD-230, however, it's probably a very nice unit too. Pretty rare if someone's interested. mk |

Yes, I just sent it to Australia..it was in EXC condition. The AD-202 came out a few years later & added some extra effects & options. |

The AD-202 has a nice delay, however, I'm not as fond of it vs. the AD-230 & UE-700. The biggest issue with the AD-202 is that you can only use one effect at a time. Also, the the same knobs control all of the effects. Therefore, if you want to change from delay to flanger, you have to re-dial in all of the settings. Other than the delay, I don't think the other effects on the AD-202 come close to the AD-230/220, UE-700, UE-400 and UE-405 units. |

I thought that on the AD-220 you have to use the same knobs & use only one effect at a time also. The AD-230's only difference is that it has Balanced & non balanced In & Out puts. I think the UE 400 needs a special footswitch. I'll have to re read my new Ibanez book again. "The biggest issue with the AD-202 is that you can only use one effect at a time. The UE-400 & UE-405 have a footswitch. You can turn on as many effects (including the external loop) at a time and order them in any way. The AD-230 definitely has more features beyond the addition inputs & outputs. While reading the book, check out the UE-700. Michael |
