Sweeeeet guitar, but you all know that. I hate to part with it, but I'm a drummer that never got much beyond aspiring guitar player. I have owned her for 15 years or so. 2nd owner as far as I know. Now I need to find a good home for it since #1- I don't play it as often as it should be, and #2- I need to fund my drum addiction. I'm sure you can relate! I don't have a picture at hand, but I'll try and post one tomorrow. Serial #1831608 In original case (in pretty darn good condition for a case!) Has a tri-sound switch Has whammy bar About 8 years ago, I hired the regional luthier (read: $$$) to adjust the tremolo, give it a fret dressing, and tweak in the intonation. I can't believe how low the action is on this thing! You just look at the frets and they play themselves ;) But no buzz. The guy is good. I'm not sure how condition is ranked. IMO, this is excellent, especially for a 20+ year old guitar! There is a tiny bit of scratching on the back from belt buckles. But the scratches are like 1/2" long each and only in the shellac. Could probably rub them out if you were so inclined. To be honest, I doubt you'd even see them if I took a picture. I had to hold it just right in the light to see them. Never noticed them before! Also, the frets look a little dull - from the fret dressing of course. Other than that, I don't know what anyone could complain about. For now, these are not mine, but they might as well be. Looks exactly the same as far as I can tell: http://www.speakeasy.org/~sven/site/photos/am255/aki.html I'd list it on ebay, but I'd rather sell it to an AM-255 devotee than to whoever clicks the button on ebay and has no clue what they're getting. If you are interested, email me with an offer. If you have any questions, email me or post here and I'll answer them. |
