Very interesting & beautiful piece. Even though it was made in 1995, the Custom Legends were actually made from leftover vintage parts. How does it play vs. an early 80's model? mk |

Wow! Very nice instrument. Except for the tuners and serial number, it looks like an early 80s AR300. The tabs on the neck binding are an interesting touch. I though that was only on the older 2619? I like the statement in the booklet. Especially the last sentence that says: "We will be happy to inform you of the availability of / and or location of interment currently for sale." I don't know who you'd call, but it sounds like they are selling burial plots, too. |

How much does it weigh? |

Michael, is weighs 4.3 KGs, my '81 AR300 weighs 4.8 KGs. The custom legend has a smoother heel than the '81 AR300. They have identical proportions. The '81 AR300 has different tuners, knobs and neck binding. The neck profile is identical, the sound is a little different, the flying finger pups have more "bite" than the S58s imo, but the fact that I have flatwounds on the '81 might attribute to that. Yes, the Super 80's definitely have more bite! |

This guitar is still for sale and will be the last of my Ibanez collection to go. I lowered the asking price to 1100 Euros plus shipping. The guitar is located in Germany but I will ship anywhere on buyers expense. If it doesn't sell through the board I'll end up on Ebay Germany in a few weeks. Thanks again for looking and feel free to ask any questions. Dave. |

It is of course not ME that will end up on Ebay Germany but the Artist, sorry for the typo. Dave. |
