Aloha from Maui, I've been living here for 20 years and have collected a few guitars. My stage guitar is my trusty and beautiful '83' AM-255. My backup is my mint '87' AM-205. I still have my '82' AS-50 that started me on my love affair with the small, semi hollow bodies from Ibanez. I purchased the guitar in question a long long time ago. It's in near mint condition and I've never seen one before. My family has moved into a house that still has central air, but no vent in my studio. I'm worried I won't be able to maintain these older instruments in the same condition that I was able to before. I'm going to sell this Musician series. In exchange for your help I will be happy to give you first option. I don't have any knowledge of this guitar other than what I've learned here on this website. It's different from the ones I've seen so far. It has the extra 6 position switch, but not the eq knobs. The switch performs similar to the Lucille switching on BB Kings guitar. This is all I know so far. I will try to keep updating. Mahalo Nui Loa, (thank you very much) MauiBoy Note: The link at the bottom of the page will take you to the pictures posted on this website, and the original thread where hopefully you and I will find out exactly what this guitar is. I've been having trouble posting pictures so I think this is the best way. Price to be determined, but I want to be reasonable. I'm told this is a limited edition, but I'm still not sure of the exact model. Thank you, MauiBoy http://www.ibanezcollectors.com/cgi-bin/discus/sho w.cgi?tpc=12&post=64829#POST64829 |
