I'm looking to sell my Bob Weir, it's been a working guitar so over the years has had it's far share of replacement bits and pieces. eg: rear covers not original, knobs not original, rear pickup replaced with Flying Finger (thanks Six.) It has the usual buckle rash and small chips and dings. No parts have been broken off (headstock top). Serial number 0776982. I'm in Australia so there would be postage to consider. You guys come across as a pretty genuine and helpful crew so here it is, what offers? Cheers Gazz |

Gazz, I got the photos - thanks. I have responded via e-mail earlier this evening but thought I'd post this here also so you don't miss it, due to the e-mail address issue that you had before. Please contact me as per my e-mail. Thanks, James |

James! (Wags admonishing finger) What's Mrs S going to say about this??? Let me guess, it's a belated Mother's Day present, is it? |

Hi Frank, Well, Mrs S told me last night "I don't want to know" when I tried to show her the photos of the Weir. How many other guys get this from their wives? Standard response maybe. So, I stopped telling her about it! - but she knows I'll work it out one way or the other. Anyone want to be a great Peugeot 505 GTI wagon, or maybe an old Lancia Beta, or maybe an AR350MST??? Seriously, one of my other toys probably needs to go if I do end up being the lucky buyer! ...by the way, it is actually my birthday today (still under 40 - just) so I think I deserve a nice present! |

Ah - I should have said, anyone want to 'buy' a great Peugeot... not 'be' a great Peugeot! Too quick with the fingers. |

Too quick with the fingers. No, I think you'll find that's galloping senility catching up with you. |

Ha ha ha Mr Bluesmeister! Six, it's a beautiful guitar you have (I have seen the thread), but I don't know that I could afford it - even in Aussie dollars! |

Six: I was just imagining your Black Weir with the full "Cowboy" inlay treatment (real MOP inlay, not appliques). The WeirMeister himself, would just have to have it! |

Yes John that would look rather tasty but one refin on a Weir is enough. One more and that would make 3 on my one. There is only so much a guitar can take. six |
