I need two chrome plated tuners (or a whole set) for a 74-76 Duluxe 59'er #2342, or two machine screws for the tuner shaft and a tuner gear. Thanks, David bluezrocker@gmail.com |

Hi Dave, I can't take a pic right now, but I found a picture in the Ibanez Replica Forum. Sixth pic from the top, on the back of the headstock it is the D-String tuner. It is different from all the rest in the pic. Thanks http://www.ibanezcollectors.com/discus/messages/13 /8846.html?1105703694 |

OK 59erdude..yer in luck ! The partz bin comes thru again ! Check out the pict...The top tuner is chrome and is the one that you asked for (to the left of the tuner is the pict that you refered to)....I do not think that that is the original to the 59er-but I have it anyway The middle tuner is what I believe is the correct tuner for a 9er, and is the same as the other 5 in the picture..in GOLD (which is correct for a black 59er the bottom one is the same as the middle (correct for a 59er, but in chrome I have a full set of each so just pick one ! These are vintage tuners and may require some tightening (just remove the dust cover, tighten the gear screw and tap on the retainer hooks to shore them up then lube) they are all in very good condition for 30 years old..let me knw which one will do the trick and its on the way... |

Hi Dave, It's definately the top tuner in the top right photo. It has a very defined tent look to it. Here is a pic of the tuners on my 59'er. I haven't figured out how to post a pic in a thread, but here is a link to it. Thanks http://img524.imageshack.us/my.php?image=tunersyy5 .jpg |

Hi Dave, Hope I'm not too late... I don't know much about 59'ers, I just assumed that if that's what was on the guitar that's what it came with. If the chrome tuner you're talking about (bottom chrome tuner)is supposed to be on the guitar, I'd rather put the originals on it if possible. Thanks Dave! |

Hi, Dave I just wanted to say thanks again for the tuners! That was super nice of you, thanks man! I installed two of the tuners but I had to make some mods to the tuners you sent. I measured the screw holes on the back of the headstock and they measure 1" from center to center. The tuners mounting holes are about 1 1/16"+ from center to center but with a little drilling I was able to enlarge the screw holes in the tuners. And now the Deluxe 59'er will wail like crazy!!! Yipee! Here are some pics of my 59'er.
