Well The time has come to upgrade my studio. It is a bit heart wrenching but in the next few weeks I will be selling all my extra gear.

This includes my AS 400

http://www.ibanezcollectors.com/discus/messages/16/9477.html

Here's a link to some pictures on the board.

In the next couple of days I will be posting more stuff and pictures.

I might even consider selling both my consecutive numbered AS400s but the offer would have to be really sweet b/c my player AS 400 has a lot of sentimental value.

more details to come.

Boogie, a gut-wrenching chapter this, I sympathise. A shame to split the bros up, but sure to be still with family. In your earlier posting on the thread referred to above, you said:

"The AS400 on the left is the first ibanez i ever bought. It really opened my eyes to the wonderful world of ibanez guitars. Picked it up at a little guitar shop in london, ontario.(canada) Thank you student loan the previous owner had changed the tuners, pick up selector and moved the strap button the the left horn. The strap button started coming loose so i moved it back to the orginal spot. About a year ago I put a custom made pickguard on because the binding on the orginal one statrd coming loose. This is my number one axe. i play it everyday and at gigs. Nothing else sounds like it. one amazing guitar."

I quote at length to help distinguish which is which for any interested party and to point out that, yes, nothing else sounds sounds like it --- apart from another AS400!

So all we need to know is, is it 811 on the left or its sibling, 810?

Mine is now well established as my all-time fave guitar, even over my '79 black beauty Gibbo ES-347 (oh yes!). Creamy is right.

Boogie , are you sure you are upgrading, one of the nice things about Ibanezcollectors , is not only to provide eachother with beautiful ibanez guitars , but also to give our fellows a positive second thought.....in this case simply think about it.... is it worth selling, your guitar is really rare...
and studio equipment value goes down quickly...
I wouldn't sell...but thats my friendly advice....

Sorry for the vague post guys. I've been sitting on the fence for a while and decided to take the plunge.

The one for sale is the one on the right, mr. 810. I got that beauty from JohnS.
It's the one in the pictures a little further down.

It would be a shame to slit them up and therefore, would consider selling them both to a good home
I will post some fresh pictures this weekend once I get my camera back.

Feel free to email boogieknightebay@yahoo.ca

cheers

Well I am currently setting up an appointment with someone in Toronto that wants to take a serious look this weekend.
I paid $3000 Canadian for the mint one (810) I got from JohnS (not included 300+ for shipping and duty). So I'm open to offers that start there. I might consider a partial trade for an early Am 205
