Hello everybody,

I'm writing from Italy because I'm planning on selling my 2630 after much debate, it's a painful choice but I'm not playing it much and I can't stand it just hanging there. Anyone interested can write me at marierrita at libero dot it. The guitar is in great shape, I replaced the bridge with a nos part so it's like brand new. The pickups are now Seymour Duncan jazz at the neck and phat cat at the bridge allowing for incredible flexibility. The original pickups are here as well. The guitar is in overall very good condition except a few bruises here and there. Pics available at request. Original case included. No pickguard, alas.
All the best,
Mario

Good thing is I learned something new about the ICW system.

Juha:

That was VERY good! :-)

One VERY important detail: all image files MUST BE UNDER 50k in size and be either GIF or JPEG file format.

NOTE: Do not try to upload an image unless you have confirmed the size of your image files using your OS' File Manager. Why? Because digital cameras do not save image files this compact. This means that processing your images with a bitmap editor is a necessary step.

If you don't have such a program, ICW recommends 2 free programs (Windows only): FastStone Image Viewer (www.faststone.org/download.htm) and IrfanView (www.irfanview.com/).

The complete instructions, with all the details and a step-by-step tutorial on using FastStone's Image Viewer to crop, resize and compress images to make them small enough to upload can be found here: www.ibanezcollectors.com/FAQMain.html

Ok, thanks everybody!
Here goes a try...keeping the images's size low makes everything real blurry, though.

I live in Italy so anyone wishing to make an offer should consider shipping and taxes which add an awful lot!
IF I really decide to sell it (my will weakens each time I look at her..!), it will go on ebay, yes.
Thanks!

Do you have an asking price in mind or are you just accepting offers?

Asking price...I don't know. With all the nos parts and new pickups I installed, I was hoping for something around 1200 euros. Any advice from the experts here would be very welcome!

The bridge pick up is a SD Phat Cat. I have both the original PUs as well.

It might go for even more on ebay. I think you'd be surprised.

I was offered one 2630 for only $1650. with no pick guard, changed pick ups and an unoriginal case, I wont mention names, i passed on that deal, yours seems very nice indeed, i hope you find someone that can appreciate what you have at a fair price, cheers

I'd love to buy it! But I'm afraid that shipping charges and tarrifs would make it too expensive for me! (Canada) Someday I will find one around here.. I just bought a 1974 Fender Deluxe Reverb from the U.S. and I got slammed with huge shipping and brokerage fees! Yikes!

HI, have the guitar sent as a present or a very low bought price to avoid high fees

Jazzz, the downside of declaring a low value is that it might not be insureable for what the actual loss would be if the guitar then gets a mauling in transit.

My GAS is in remission at present, and I'm in selling mode, mi dispiace, Mario!
