I just picked an older (maybe 15-20 years??) Ibanez acoustic guitar, model # V310BK. It's black with green/gold/pearl inlay around the edges. Just wondering if anybody can give me any info on it such as the materials, age, etc. |

Tom: The serial number would probably help to identify the age. Somebody with an old catalog would be able to help with specs, etc. |

Thanks for the feedback John. The serial # was kind of hard to read but it looks like B2026150H. Any info anyone can provide would be appreciated. |

That number appears to be 82026150H. That would make it 2nd week of '82 I think. That's about right for the model number. Any they made with lots of inlaid binding tended to be better-made guitars - I'm sure that these will come to be valued for sound, but they're beautiful to look at too! The H is interesting - I wonder what that's for? I've seen Bk for black and N for natural. The good thing is, they age very well, finishes last and they don't crap out like a lot of guitars. |
