I'm no expert on acoustics, so I don't know if this is a high-end guitar or even vintage, but here's the link: http://www.shopgoodwill.com/viewItem.asp?ItemID=29 24802 -Chuck |

The series is called "vintage", but I think it is one of the cheaper models, because it's a low number. Concord series were more expensive than Vintage series. And Artist series were mostly more expensive than Concords, with a few exceptions. Artists were original designs, Concords were good replicas. I think this was a 200 dollar guitar, although I couldn't find one lower than 637 and 638 so quick. Ginger |

After googling a little I found one presented as a Concord and another for sale in Holland on www.marktplaats.nl for €500.- under the model name YORK. I found the 628 in the 1976 catalogue: http://www.break-even.org/ibzscans/1976KALA2/a-vin t-6.jpg The original list price was even lower than I thought: $139.- Generally spoken "selected spruce" is NOT solid. I think €500.- for this model is way too much. Ginger |
