Wow...it's "tuned"....that's really important! I love when the ads say stuff like that, or "needs new strings" well doh! You immediately know that you are dealing with a guitar stupid person. It's usually a good thing to know. |

I was going to mention that, ubetcha! Too funny. I love the picture with the guy's feet reflected in the back. Seriously, though, looks pretty good. |

I got the V300TV today. it was made a year earlier than my MH 1981. I don't think it has ever been played! showroom condition. no pick marks, no buckle rash, literaly mint. And its a player low action straight neck. yes, very happy with this one. i'll post pics soon. Brucifer |

Excellent!!! And, Bruce, the icing on the cake is... it's tuned! In the brass instrument world (my main music thing), when we have a conductor that's on us about intonation, we joke to each other that our instruments are "tuned at the factory." What that means is, we don't really give a hoot, and we're too lazy to adjust our tuning slides. |

Well, it was not tuned when it arrived! should i leave BF? ;} i have to agree with the conductor on this one.. if your not intonated why show up? standards man! B |

Very nice, Bruce. Hey, the MH is really nice too. Is that a factory pickup-system on that one? |

No,the pickup is a LR Baggs M1. Yes i agree the MH is very nice. It will be my playing guitar, and the TV will be tucked away and come out only occasionaly. I would also like to try the K&K pure western,( i think you suggested that pickup on another thread) maybe in conjunction with the M1. I play a lot of open tuning harmonic two handed stuff. I always have trouble getting the right sound out of a PA... |

Yes, I had the K&K pure western mini installed on my M310 a few weeks ago. My luthier wanted to install it on his own Breedlove cedar-top (a gorgeous guitar, by the way), but Breedlove uses a bridge trussing system that makes it impossible to go with under-saddle systems. Haven't had an opportunity to gig with the KK yet, though. |

Tuned or not Brucifer, looks lovely & a good price congratulations. Chazmo, as a low-brass guy I am as indifferent to tuning as possible. It's all in the lip, anyways. The band usually just tunes to me, and that way I'm never wrong. |

Actually, I'm kind of anal about tuning, but in my orchestra the brass is, indeed, usually quite sharp. It drives our conductor batty. |

Hey my A is 440, and I have perfect pitch....sorry I was born with it. I haven't moved my tuning slides in ten years. As if anyone could tune a piccolo or a flute anyways, and have it stay the same. Intonation is about a lot more than moving it in or out. Your ear is the most important thing. I am a tuba player, & I double on Bass T-bone...Concert Band, Symphonic & for the money I play ragtime, Dixie & what have you got. I am always in pitch,(once I am warmed up) no s*** & no sympathy for the rest of the band. Of course, my current director is a trombone (slide tone approximator) player, so he knows what's up. They all tune to me, and then we're in tune, if they're listening. They all buy those electronic gizmoes, and it turns out the same every time....I was in tune. I should rent myself out. |
