Will get pictures up shortly, but i've recently added 3 more lovely acoustics to my rolling collection. Always wanted a 12 string, and stumbled across a really good condition V302 in black. Ordinarily i dont like black guitars coz they show up every chip and blemish more than any other colour, but beggers cant be choosers eh I've already got the strange Lonestar LE420 as you know, so i really broke the bank (my little bank) to get a beautiful LS340 in dark red. Cant find any info about the model anywhere. Sure Acetan will appreciate the pictures when i get them up. It plays like a dream. The third one, the Silver Cadet, was a cheap one off ebay. I figured if Ibanez lend their name to sth, it cant be too bad, and i liked the colour. It's intended as my cheap knock-about guitar, and it more than does the job. |

LS340? That's a model not found in any of my literatures. Now I'm really curious. Ace |

Haven't uploaded my own pics to PC yet (am at work), but here is the seller's pic of the LS340. Must be another european model, Ace.... SN says it's 1990, Japan. I too haven't found info on this anywhere.

Beautiful color. It would make a great companion for my LE420TR. The Lonestars were great guitars that got neglected, what a shame. Ace |

I dont think that foto does it justice actually, specially in terms of the patterning. I have a sneaky feeling the Lonestars' time will come soon though. After all, there's at least two of us not neglecting them... ;) |

Hey Ace, Havent got a violin but i have a lovely 185 from the midsixties. I'm in the process of shooting all my guitars so will get some pics sorted soon, i promise! Hi Kwokwok, seen your posts about the V302 and posted on the thread. My black v302 is from 1980. As for price, well it depends on location like most things. The guys here can (already have..) indicate the average they fetch on ebay in the states. I paid considerably less for mine, so you're not always guaranteed what the guitar is worth, if you catch my drift. |

Hofner 185, oh I remember those. I had a friend of mine's Hofner Galaxy for one summer back in 1965. I think it was the 6-string counter part to the 185. If my memory's correct, the Galaxy had "wrapped in vinyl" finish. Very interesting guitars. Ace |
