Hi Cam2,
First I don't think it's a 73, but rather a 77-78 if it's an acoustic artist.
It listed new in 78 at 595 DM (Deutsche Marks) which is in the price range of similar copies models from the same year. (The concorde series).
The last one I saw on ebay went for 356€ which I though was a bit on the high side....

In my humble opinion the Artist acoustic models are great instruments, better then most of the copies.
