I have a old Ibanez Guitar, over 30 years... Inside it says Modelo No 694. Made in Japan. Special made for Scandinavia. I cant find any info for the modelnumber anywhere on the internet, but maybe you guys can help me out a little... Info and value.. |

The 694 was a mid range acoustic from the early 70's through to about 1979. It is basically a simpler (and cheaper) version of the 698 - I have seen these with both the upturned and drooping moustache tailpieces but they usually had fixed bridges. Don't see many of them around now and it would be hard to put a value on it - 698s typically fetch as much as US$300-400 so I would expect a little less for the 694. |
