Hi there, I've had this baby for about 20 years and I wouldn't part with her. My brother in Queensland has an M-412 ? I think. His has a maple neck where mine is rosewood. The only other M-312 I have seen is in the US. The serial number was that close it wasn't funny. I'd like to know when it was made andit's present value. Condition is Excellent with 1 slight indent on the lower bout. Serial number on the neck block is 811214 Ibanez M-312 |

I've got the same guitar & I bought mine new in 1982. I assume that the "81" in the s/n is the mfg date. I love mine as well & would never part, but did some mods to the bridge and switched the bridge pins for brass to add some bass and sustain as it was a little thin in tone. Also installed gold Schaller tuners -- adds a lot to the look & easier to tune |
