I have a mint condition Ibanez AEM28 (on the inside it says AEM28-MS-OP-01(could that mean it was born in 2001?)), blue or marine burst w/ a Maple flame top, arched maple back, gold hardware and dot inlays. It looks just like the current AEF30MS without the block inlays and new logo on the headstock. Can someone tell me about this guitar and how much it might be worth? |

Hi Jd, your guitar was not a model that was bought into Australia, but it would have retailed for around $849.00 ausd.It was the top of the line in the 2001 AE series of guitars. It has a flame maple top with maple back and sides and a mahogany neck with gold hardware with a AEQ-SS shape shifter preamp and Fishman Sonicore pickup. Hope this info helps, Keep On Rockin' Cameron |

Thanks Cameron! It totally helps! I actually bought the it in the states where I live now, but I imagine if it was worth around $849 AUD then it must have been around $500-550 USD. Thanks again! -Jen |
