Hello everyone, I was wondering if Ibanez Challenger strats came stock with a 3-way pickup selector or a 5-way. I have heard that 70's Ibanez strat copies came with a 3-way earlier on but then switched around '75-'76 to a 5-way. I was not sure so I thought I'd ask you guys. |

I have another question for you guys. Do your guitars have hairline cracks around the neck joint in the finish? Is this something I should be concerned with and if so is it expensive and difficult to repair? Does anyone have any close up pics of the neck joint on their strat copies posted on this forum anywhere? |

my f77 is a 5 way. no, no stress cracks. i'd have a luthier check it. it might just be in the finish. |
