Hey,

I searched the board for a while but still need help with an ID of a lefty Ibanez bass I just purchased. The serial number is G773227 so I've gathered that it's a July 1977 model. Here are a few pics:

head
neck and body

MIne is similar to the bass in this post:

but doesn't have "Silver Series" printed on the head.

Looks to be a 2365BL. See this page from a 1976 catalog:

It's the one in the lower left. The right-handed model is shown, but I assume the "L" version would be the left-handed one.

Nice bass!

Looks to be about right, Chuck. Although the serial number on mine indicates it's a '77, not '76. Were 2365BL's produced in '77 as well?

Seems like it. The link I gave above is to a catalog labeled as a 1976 catalog. Here's a link (from another site) that lists the nearly identical catalog as a 1977 catalog:
