Ebay Item #260139602425 It's got the metal truss rod cover of a 1970-71, but the pickups look non-original and the bridge/tailpiece look like Gibson style, not Fender. Nice looking guitar though. Any thoughts? Could it be an Ibanez neck on a unidentifiable MIJ body? -Chuck |

It could be a pre copy IBZ with a strat pickguard. |

Check out the sixties-ibanez.com page - this guitar's a 2475 STLP from '69/70. Looks complete & pretty nice to me, apart from what looks like an extra strap button on the lower horn. Presumably it's been strung l/h at some point. Jon. |

Hi all! Yes, itīs indeed some kind of precursor of what later became the well-known 2375. Note that this one has also 2 knobs in stead of 3 and the pickups are all with chrome casings (in fact these are the same pickups as were used in the neck position of the telecaster copies). Hasy has one in his collection too. Kind greetz, Harry |

I was just about starting a thread on this 2475, but when I saw the 2375 with a question mark, I figured someone must have spotted it. So the Lace "Chrome Domes" were not such an original idea after all. (I'm not talking about what's on the inside of course). What do you think about the price, Harry? The BIN seems pretty steep, don't you think? Ginger |

The auction is closed.... 300 $, no reserve price and nobody wants to buy this old lady ? In the last 7 years i sort them only 3 times. One is in Orvals collection, one is in my museum and this auction now. I dont know, this lady is a rare byrd and the collectors worldwide are not interessed ? :-( Hasy |
