I'd like your help, please, if you own a *1975* pre-serial # Korina Destroyer, Futura (Moderne), or Rocket Roll.

If you have what you believe to be the original pickups on your guitar, please let me know what kind of pickups they are and what model you own.

Images would be a bonus if you have the means to post them.

I'd like to hear from as many owners as possible.

I've always believed that these guitars had Super 70 pickups on them but am now questioning that assumption.

I believe the 1976 and later models of these guitars had the Super 70s on them but I am now thinking that the 1975 models had a different pickup and I am trying to establish just, exactly, what that pickup was.

Thank you, all.

- Pete

You probably already know this, Peter, but the 1976 "Golden Oldies" catalog shows the 2469 Futura as having "Twin gold plated Super 70 Anti-Hum pickups." The 2459 Destroyer has the same, except chrome-plated, and the 2387 has the same, gold-plated.

Also, here's a picture from a very old post, showing the three guitars together (someone was selling them as a group) and it shows the Futura/Moderne with gold-plated pickups.
