This one, for example:

Ebay Item #330160207749

Pretty cheap hardware (note the plain toggle switch), never mind the bolt-on neck. I'm wondering if these guitars were a planned "low end" line that never took off because Hoshino discontinued the replica lines? Makes sense that they'd want to stick an "Ibanez Quality" medallion on them to raise their cred. It would also explain how a Frankenstein like this:

Ebay Item #320152490625

could show up. Thoughts?

I won one off E-bay a little while back for a much lower price. The workmanship of the guitar (body, neck, fets, tuning machines) is pretty good. The pick-ups are stuck together in a single plastic unit and give out a throaty nasal sound, perfect for heavy riffs.

I had it set-up super low and changed the nut.

I compared it to my cousin's Epi Korina V and hands down the Ibanez blows it out the door.

Mine does not have the medallion.

So if you come across one for a good price, I think it's a decent guitar with MOJO to spare.
