Hi, I have learned, that for a certain period in the seventies, IBANEZ sold its high-end accoustics under the brandmark TAMA. Since more than 30 years I have a perfectly built (but almost never played) TAMA 3558 S (in mint/fabric-new condition). Unfortunatelty I cannot find a forum, where I can get more details about this treasury (origin, original price, current market-value etc.) Can anyone help ? |

Tromsa: This is the most comprehensive TAMA site I know of: http://freenet-homepage.de/hufschlag/html/tama_mai n.html Here's a Discussion forum for TAMA guitars: http://kenlawton.com/MyTamaGuitar/index.php I'm going to be moving this thread to the Acoustic section. |

I found one Tama catalog for 1978 guitars, Tromsa, on the Meinl web site, but didn't spot a model 3558 in there. Good luck in the hunt. http://www.t3-kundenserver.de/htmlpages/redasys/_c ore/databases/t_meinl-uploads/1978_tama___ibanez_a coustic_guitars.pdf |

I keep an eye for them on UK Ebay the last couple of years....The ones I've seen fetch around 500-700 pounds...... |
