While anything is possible, I have a very hard time with that story. There's not much familiar-looking about that guitar, compared with anything else Ibanez. I'd need to inspect this guitar in-person before I spent that kind of money.

I dunno - that logo on the headstocks screams out fake/counterfeit to me.
