1980 blazer series strat - any thoughts?

Author Message   Blondax Username: Blondax Registered: 10-2007 Posted on Monday, November 05, 2007 - 7:01 pm:    i just bought this '80 blazer on ebay for $200. i'm feeling strangely smug - almost giddy - should i be feeling this way? or am i over rating my ebay instincts? (i've been wrong before) anyway, here is the stuff: ~ 1980 'blazer series' ibanez strat ~ natural ash body with 3 single coils ~ mini switch of some sort ~ 5 way selector ~ hard tail can anybody confirm what the miniswitch is doing on a 3 single coil config? the p'ups are black with no pole pieces showing. it looks to be in decent shape. i'll try posting a pic:   Blondax Username: Blondax Registered: 10-2007 Posted on Monday, November 05, 2007 - 7:05 pm:    can somebody explain the pickup config especially the mini toggle? thanks!   Mr_roadstar Username: Mr_roadstar Registered: 6-2002 Posted on Monday, November 05, 2007 - 8:48 pm:    The mini toggle reverses the wiring or "phase" of the middle pickup. It will only affect the tone in selector switch positions 2 & 4.
